Chieftain Build Help

Hello Everyone!

I am pretty new to POE and I've been following some guides to try to make the best build possible. I like Totems so that's why I chose Chieftain but I don't like Ancestral Bond because I want to also be fighting with my totems instead of just hiding behind them.

So I found the Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone build. It was good because it uses Ancestral Warchief as a support ability. The problem here is that cyclone is super boring and the totem just wasn't strong enough.

So I tried to keep using Ngamahu's Flame but with other skills instead of cyclone. Finally I found Static Strike and I love that skill. I also found the Static Strike Builds with Voidforge which uses Ancestral Warchief as a 6 link so it's perfect.

I haven't found any Chieftain builds that use Voidforge and Static Strike, so I've been following the cyclone build passive tree and making adjustments that I thought might work best.

A few notes:
My Amulet is anointed with Fatal Blade for the extra DPS.

I chose to take Soul of Steel instead of the Life Passives around Constitution but I'm not sure if that is a good trade off.

I took Vaal Pact because I think it might be better to double my life steal then have any regen.

I know my gear isn't optimized but I am casual player and this is what I've been able to afford.

I know my chaos resistance is low and I'm planning to buy new gauntlets to boost it a bit.

So, my concern is that I feel like I'm not as strong as I would have hoped and sometimes I get killed way too fast. I would really appreciate any advice you all have!
