Spiders get such a bad rap, most are quite cool, and they are fun to watch.
I had a tarantula for years, it was a great pet. It would eat crickets and grasshoppers like you wouldnt believe. Also they molt as they grow, leaving a nearly perfect "shell" of itself, which I can tell you, I used as a prank to fuck with people all the time.
