the added fire and lightning damage is not added to spells, and the crafted spell crit is laughably bad.

as is, very much worthless.

I remember when I used to be this dude, pick up and haul every shaper/elder item.

9/10 they are garbage, the more builds you play the more you'll understand the gigantic spectrum of good items for each build.

Literally the only advice I can give to you, and other new players is try everything, that's the only way you will learn what's BIS and whats a close second.

Until you have that variety under your belt I suggest using a trade macro where you can price check in game easily, you have to do the advanced search then you'll search the mods that stand out and see what the base + mod(s) are selling for.

Doing it by the GGG trade system or POE.TRADE is still the most in depth way, but very, very time consuming.

Don't know how I ended up on the thread but that's my 2 pence anyway.
