Anyone tired of market trolls?

I'm sick of putting in what they ask for and they turn down the bid or getting that link to pay money for currency site link if they would just make we're you offer what they put and get it right then without them having to accept it , it would stop all that and stabilized the market.

I would also love an option as seller, non negotiable so offer has to match, if not autoreject. I am getting annoying 3c offers for a 2 ex item etc, its pretty annoying as well.

True would be nice wouldn't it and it would not affect the pc Verizon at all since they use a web site to sell and buy mostly

One would think that this could be added without offending any principles in the Trade Manifesto. Would offering more (same currency, larger amount) be acceptable too?

As for Auto-Buyout - you do not have to use the Trade Board very long before wanting something on that front. I still think that we should have auto buyout for currency, maps, and low price items (maybe up to about the rough equivalent of 5c, or maybe 1 GCP if 5c is deemed too generous). I really believe that lots of Players would lower their ask a little just to get in under the wire. One of the dangers of course is that some ambitious types would almost certainly try to buy up an entire item and then jack the price (and this change would make it too easy). Sadly, the small market size allows single Players (or groups of Players) to exert undue influence on prices.

To be honest, we need both "Auto Buyout" and "Buyout Only" options for sellers. "Auto Buyout" would allow some leeway where buyers could still potentially offer more, "Buyout Only" would completely lock-out trades to offers from players that don't exactly match the set buyout price.

Why do we need both? Simple - because trolls are a problem from the PoV of both buyers and sellers. The main reason people suggest "Auto Buyout" offers is because the current system promotes things like price-fixing, baiting and raising the price of items, and the trade board being hijacked by bots or gold-sellers to advertise their RMT sites.

But from the PoV of sellers, there are also cases of individuals who seemingly have nothing better to do than repeatedly spam stupid offers (like scroll fragments) just to annoy the seller on the other end, people making fake offers just to use the message feature to anonymously send abusive messages, and people who get very irate if their offer is declined.

Therefore we need a "Buyout Only" to filter-out and prevent such scroll-fragment or message-based abuse. It would also make it very clear that you will not accept lower offers, so you wouldn't get people trying and then getting angry that you keeo rejecting them.

Because these options are entirely non-negotiable, the message system could be entirely disabled in these cases: there's no need for it, and it closes off an avenue of abuse if necessary.

And yeah, we know they can do it, I mean chine is using the same tradeboard and they have autobuyout. It has been posted in the forum already with a video how its working.

Just came to complain about the trading and found this forum. I'm very annoyed with making B/O offers then being rejected. It happened to me at least 9/10 times today. This trade system is very inefficient and very frustrating for users. As a seller, I also hate lowball offers when my b/o price is posted. If someone is relentless and repeat lowballs me, I just take the item out of my stash so they stop bugging me. I pride myself as a good seller and when someone offers me a b/o price, I will portal myself to the hideout to accept. Very few people do this as when I make offers to buy, some people take hours to respond. GGG please do something to improve this trade system.

Also what leaves a bad taste in the mouth is,if you are afk for a while then come back and several people offer your b/o price. You accept one, and yeah as we are lazy we just decline the others. Would be awesome if the system could autoreject them with a message, that it has been sold already. But ok it's just a minor thing, but it probably would help with the trading frustration.

some times I get messages after purchasing an item that says best offer or b/o and the price.... what is that about, of that's a auto selling system, how can I do that?????? also im tired of these harassing offers over and over again trying to bully me into selling 10 exalt items for 1c !!!! fix this GGG
