I was enjoying the game and new performance updates that PS4 had got this league.
And just before I started mapping I thought, uh alright I'll buy 450 points and get the stash tabs, not a huge investment, but enough to equal a game purchase to some degree. Then I started mapping with the toxic rain totem skill setup. To progress you need to add more support skills and attack speed etc which basically just means worse performance the more you add. (good design?) This has been one of the worst gaming experiences I think I've played, since Superman 64. The rubber banding, the lag, the constantly low FPS.... and the crashing; 8 crashes yesterday. I've worked on games where I had less than 8 crashes while in development in a week. I'm playing on PS4 Pro with an internal SSD, I set the PS4 to 1080p to get extra performance on PoE. It's just horrible playing at frame rates that should fail your sony submission for the game, how is this possible to have such a terrible performing game on the PS4? If I had of seen how bad it was playing this, I wouldn't have bought the stash tabs, now I feel like an idiot. Is this ever going to get fixed? doubt it, ive been trying my xbox onex and xbox one with ssd also and I have literally perpetually been lagging every 10 seconds like I was playing an old playstation game cd with scratches on it... my internet connection is perfect and all my other games NEVER crash or lag, the state of lag and crash was never this bad, idk if its cuz the game has now too much on their servers with both consoles or what, but after 6 days of attempts im walking away myself. don't think this is fixable, sry u didn't get to really experience poe without the game in this state, because no lie it was the best game I ever played

" know, how you feel .. I downloaded PoE and I was excited .. I bought stash tabs, and started playing .. Later I got upset that loading maps took a long time but I was still excited about the game. I bought an SSD and the map was shorter. Then came a flashback event and started to feel the problems: the speed of the slide was devastating when you hit a lot of NPCs so the game was blurred and I felt like I was playing a mario from 1985. I also feel like an idiot that I made some investment for this game. Then I found interesting posts from GGG on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/biswm9/console_problems_and_solutions_state_of_the_game/ Be careful ..
