UPDATE: Here is 1st video, DAY1 of league farming Blood Aqueducts on a 4-LINK with this build :) so almost at maps soon. I feel melee still lacks early game damage.. so thats why im going to get that Tabula to have a proper 6link Dual Strike and I will be removing the Heavy Strike from the build atm. Was just testing out both when leveling and both felt very good!
Leap Slam is soooo good.. maybe even TOP TIER level movement skill now without any cooldown. But even Whirling Blades feels faster then ever now!!

This is my second proper build im attempting to make next to my pretty popular

Now as Legion is almost upon us I really wanted to make my first Melee character build guide and see how it goes as on paper this should be pretty amazing and CHEAP-ish..!

I play 99% of my time in SSF so I tend to not use too many uniques in my builds and if I do I always have them as optional and not mandatory.
Crafting is so easy nowadays that I feel you do not really need any specific Uniques anymore, which is kind of sad but kind of cool aswell as this means we can do all content without some crazy niche build.


Pros:
Going to update as I go but in short we should do a F TON of damage with each hit with both of our weapons.
If we can find (or buy) the threshold jewel that gives us 20% DOUBLE DAMAGE chance and SPLASH DAMAGE gem this would go nuts.. but it already is without it lol

Cons:
You still melee.. so you need to hug the boss and say hi would you please die already but don´t worry, bosses should go down in a few hits

GEMS:

So I have them planned out from best to worst in links. If you have a 3-4-5 or 6 link item then you know what gem to input next :)
Take note that NEW GEMS are not implemented here yet, feel free to mix and match! I added in POB notes section on what I think the best supports and new active skills are to help us out :)

For SINGLE TARGET if really needed feel free to switch out ANCESTRAL CALL to RUTHLESS and MELEE SPLASH to DAMAGE ON FULL LIFE Always check out new leagues GEMS and maybe use something totally new with almost the same passive tree

1 PRIDE - 50% AURA - 20% INCREASED AOE ja 19% MORE Phys Dam up to 39%
after enemy stays there for 4 seconds
1 PULVERIZE Support - 34% MORE AOE ja 45% MORE Melee AOE
1 FLESH AND STONE - 16% MORE Phys Damage MAIM OR BLIND Sand\Blood Stance
and 10% REDUCED DAMAGE TAKEN from FAR AWAY ENEMIES
in SAND STANCE
PRECISION - 186MANA RESERVED - ACCURACY and CRIT CHANCE and 20% AOE
RAGE SUPPORT - Maybe better then some other support!!
BERSERK - MORE Attack Damage, Movement Speed ja 27% LESS damage taken,
lose 5 rage per second.

LEAP SLAM or WHIRLING BLADES or something new:
Leap Slam-Faster Attacks-Fortify Maybe use a 4th support from the new gems!

Farming Blood Aqueducts right now for Tabula but going very well so far. Though still feels kinda the same damage wise as before melee buffs with the rare monsters getting double the health now vs before.
But playing melee itself is so much smoother and a joy to play!

Anyway another update!
Added a small GIF on top to show how the build works EARLY maps with rares (and Tabula).

Farmed Blood Aqueducts for like 2hours to get Humility divination cards and after that it´s been so sweet to play.

I added VAAL Double Strike aswell next to VAAL Ancestral Warchief and it works so nice like that :) but there is so so much more to go!

Unless I'm missing something, the socket where you placed Might and Influence doesn't actually support Dex threshold jewels. Wouldn't it be better in the jewel socket it next to Golem's Blood?

Im still there LOL. I just level tons of builds at the same time.
But it was a 4link setup for Dual Strike and then if you can find them Vaal Double Strike and Vaal Ancestral Warchief is a great bonus.

All in all I still feel melee is kind of a bit hard to get going but once you do it is pretty nice. Still casters are way infront imo :D but im leveling more builds to see how Berserker etc feels on some other builds :)

So i dont know if you troll or how you get 129 skill points and use skills with just 80 int if 155 requ...

This build is full of bullshit, as is its author. As was mentioned already the pob is packed with misleading information like out of limit passive points, skills enabled in spite of not meeting stat requirements. Author clearly has no idea of what he's doing or he's trying to make a fool out of a reader - as an example he's using ancestral call (which on its won is ridiculous)and MELEE SPLASH SUPPORT while using a threshold jewel which grants exactly that, thus wasting from one to two gem sockets.
