Empyrean Weapon Effect too transparent ?

I'm thinking about getting this pack, the weapon effect is interesting me however when i look at the peoples who own that pack in town it is almost invisible - which is an important difference with the video shown as it was shot in the dark.

Same for the glow from the armour, it looks discrete but visible in the video but in non darkish areas in game it is almost completely invisible.

What do you think ? Opinions from people who own this pack are very welcome.
