Need help on an Ele Cyclone RT Raider!

Hey guys, I just started trying to comprise my own builds but need some input to optimize. My goal with the build is to be able to farm uberlab and push high maps in next league. I understand that there might be upcoming changes in the next league that will have impact further down the line but I really want to try cyclone as a starter and have some ideas for what I wanna do.

PoB: https://pastebin.com/76yxsAjK

So I have a few questions:

1. Do you think my potions are reasonable? My reasoning behind the bubbling flask is because of traps in lab and panic button and for the sulphur, other than damage, consecrated ground could give some nice reg during some fights.

2. Do you think I should run Vaal Pact?

3. Defensives good enough and/or need bigger hp pool for high maps/buffed izaro?

5. Skill tree efficient?

6. Damage good enough?

If you notice anything else please let me know! Thanks a ton :)

few things i notice.

#1. i'd run fortify on something other than cyclone. it reduces your dps potential basically by 35%. that is huge. but if the quality of life is good enough for you then keep it.
#2. i personally wouldn't run lion's roar. the knockback makes cyclone feel like garbage. but this is personal preference.
#3. have 'of reflexes' on your jade flask. must have.
#4. i personally wouldn't run darkray vectors. the frenzy charges drop off too fast and without them your movement speed is garbage. i'd replace with atziri's promise for more spell dodge and hp and loads of evasion. also super cheap option.

otherwise things look pretty solid. won't be the best or most optimized option around but decent.

on a separate note:
im personally looking towards doing a cyclone focused raider as well (i always build raiders). but i want to build it around dyadus with EE. they are a super cheap option and enormous dps. upwards of 580 dps per axe. thats fucking bonkers. since cyclone alternates weapons per hit (not just per attack), much like lacerate, it would work well with EE as long as you don't have any other added damage or damage conversion elsewhere you get a free 50% pen.

but ya that build should be able to do izaro no issues. i mean once you get used to the trap layouts and stuff hp pots will be non issues, and as raider with avatar of the chase and a jade flask you'll have so much evasion izaro won't tough you anyway.

oh another thing you should add, is a jewel or something to blind. you want blind in there.

Thank you! Those are some very solid tips :) Changing fortify to ele focus gives me roughly 50% more dps actually, and truth be told I think I can maintain fortify when mapping since leap slam will be used mainly for moving around anyways. And I doubt izaro will last long enough for me to have to reapply it more than once or twice anyways.

Definately using atziri's step over darkray vectors, seems like a better tradeoff. And the jewel is a really nice thing I didn't think about!

I actually never used Lion's roar before, it basically gives me 20% more overall damage but i guess it also anti-synergizes a bit with my ancestral protector since I might knock them away from the totem.. Do you have any suggestions for a replacement? Like a warding flask/dying sun for lava traps or aoe/taste of hate for some added dps/quicksilver for QoL?

Do you think it'll be viable as a starter for next league?

Also have a question about the Damage on Full Life support I'm using, do you think I'll benefit much from it or should I just drop it for Maim/Added fire for more stable dps? No experience on this unfortunately..

Sorry for dumping all these questions but you seem helpful and also experienced, no hard feelings if you dont wanna spend time replying :)

On your separate note:

Seems like a cool idea, are you making the build yourself? Otherwise if it's posted somewhere I'd love to read it to see if it's something for me to consider :)

Anyways big thanks yet again!

oh right i totally forgot to mention that you should unspec out of the phys dmg leech from the south tree. just take out those 6 passives up to the hp point.

those won't help you at all since #1 its physical attack damage leech, meaning it will not leech from your ele converted damage. you also have enough leech on the other wheel so you don't need more.

i also wouldn't get vaal pact.

for a flask replacement i would replace lion's roar with a quicksilver flask or something. if you don't need that then you could just use a basalt flask of warding or something.

ya i think it could be viable for league starter. you have 2x 6L there but only the bronn's lithe would be "required", and those are fairly cheap since it isn't a super popular chest. getting a 5L one would be pretty easy as a league starter i imagine.

atziri's disfavour would be harder to obtain at first but should be fine eventually. the hardest thing to get for the build would probably be the colours on the chest. you want 5x off colour. that would take some work.

ya i personally never use damage on full life. i'd just use maim instead, again, if you can get the colours for it.
Alright, those points will be nice to loosen up!

Big thanks for the help and GL! :)
