Mapping/Delving: CA vs TR?
What do people prefer? I've been using piercing (passive tree) gmp CA for clear and enjoying it but hear a lot of good stuff about quill rain + tr + mirage archer.

The slow in TR is a very strong utility which and also has better single target. CA is better at clearing packs and is faster at those since it doesnt have the explosion delay. You can run both at same time and compare them since the same skill tree would work well for both of them

you may wish to reconsider any dot build for delving.
I made a ca/ta build with agony crawler focusing on the dot and at level 74, i am finding that even the very early depths are an issue. The crawler goes ahead no matter what and the dot takes so long to kill them that your well down the path, leaving them in darkness - and i dont know if its a bug or what, but even though your supposed to be able to backtrack, it often kills me with dark stacks on the lighted path and even then I dont get any loot to pickup and the crawler doesnt seem to have much on it either. i leveling with both on the start of the league and i can tell you when you know how to play with TR is so far better than CA!
i shot in a pack and is already dead befor the explosion ... and for the single target Tr is verry good to! u need a good attack speed and you good to go |
