Theorycraft Help, Null's Inclination + Herald of Agony

I feel like there's a decent build to be had with Herald of Agony and Null's Inclination but I could use some ideas.

Basic Idea - Caustic Arrow/Toxic Rain/Scourge Arrow and Herald of Agony seem designed to work together by generating poison stacks, which increases Herald of Agony's damage. Since Herald of Agony is a minion, Null's Inclination will buff it's damage, in addition to summoning other minions and having a large amount of added chaos damage built into the bow.

Cons: Null's Inclination has a low base physical damage, which makes scaling the attack skills harder.

Unknown's: If DOTs/Herald will trigger Null's Inclination. I know the wiki states the old Caustic Arrow's cloud won't trigger it, but possibly the new one's will?

I would like to have Despair and Temporal Chains on a Curse on hit with ball lightning/orb of lightning, but am lacking links

What do you guys think the best build would be for this? Would a Shadow or Witch be better for this?

What do you think about stacking dex + nulls + Speakers wreath + hyrrs demise + snakebite?
You will poison on max frenzy charge stacks, Agony pet will be getting dex buffs from bow and helmet,
You will be doing Good cold damage with the quiver, and you can use hatred too... and im not taking into account
Other minions that you can have active. Love the idea of the nulls with Agony!
Good suggestions overall, but the problem of running Speakers with Hyrri's is that you have a chance to iginte on your attacks, which defeats the point of Speakers. Snakebite's not a bad idea, however I think I'd just add the poison support on my main attack at this point, which with the passive tree and the herald gives %100 poison chance. Snake bite is still an option depending on how much I need the extra gem slot, but this will have to wait for me to play on a ranger to playtest.

Another note from play testings: Caustic Arrow is great for generating poison charges but horrid for procing Null's. It does good DPS. Toxic Rain does great DPS and has decent CC, and is good against bosses, but doesn't stack poison well and also doesn't proc Null's very well. Scourge arrow has amazing clear, as well as poison generation and proc's Null's well.

For Toxic Rain, I'd swap the summon phantasm and the faster attacks for concentrated aoe and poison supports.

I'm playing this build on an assassin atm, and am swapping between Scourge and Toxic Rain depending on the fight. I'll test with Speakers and Hyrri's when I get the chance, but Hyrii's is rather expensive atm (about 11c for the cheapest last I checked). Assassin is suffering from poor defense, but I don't have great gear so hopefully that can be improved.

I understand that, but hyrri's gives your attacks fire damage in addition to the cold and lightning. While you would still benefit from hyrri's, all of your attacks now have a chance to ignite. This won't matter if you one shot mobs, but if you don't your minions will likely finish them off. As it is, I believe poison killing the mobs won't trigger Null's, though I may be wrong. Also, SRS is causing enemies to ignite, which is already limiting Speaker's effectiveness, though you've at least triggered Null's to get the spirits.

Don't get me wrong, Hyrri's is an amazing quiver for DPS, especially with the attributes the build gets, but I don't think Hyrri's and Speakers work well together. The only way to mitigate that is to somehow remove the fire damage, either by converiting it to chaos or removing your ignite chance. The first may be possible, but would greatly limit your build. I don't think you can completely remove your ignite chance, but it may be possible to make ignites last a very short time, which would help.
