Pros & Cons
Pros
- Probably the tankiest LLD currently made - High manouverability - Up to 254% Movement speed when using Charged Dash and Smoke Mine - Semi-High damage Cons - Can be expensive - Has a hard time against some casters types
Build Mechanics
The basics of this build is quite straight forward. We stack flat elemental damage by using:
Because of the unique mod on BLS that adds 4-7 flat fire damage to attacks per 10 strength, we focus on stacking strength through our skill tree and items. The truly exceptional thing about this method of gaining lots of elemental damage, is that strength also increases physical damage, of which some is converted to even more elemental damage and gives us +1 life for every 2 strength! Combine this with the marauder and templar starting areas and the build is able to amass an insane amount of flat life, while maintaining competitive levels of damage. Counter attacks + Elemental scaling Mana cost Management
Passive Skill Tree
Skills & Links
Charged Dash/Lightning Strike
Main skill. Use charged Dash for most fights and Lightning Strike against casters. Be sure to have a Block chance reduction gem in your inventory for high block characters. Riposte + Vengeance Makes us extremely deadly at close range Reckoning Makes us extremely deadly at close range Auras Highest damage setup possible for this character. Arctic armor is always in effect when using charged dash, which further increases tankiness. Enlighten level 2 is required otherwise you wont have enough mana for some skills Leap Slam Pretty standard Tempest Shield + Smoke Mine Tempest shield is linked with Culling strike in order to give us an ever so slight edge over the opponent

nice build!
i've made a couple stat stat stacking chars for shits and giggles with only uniques in LLD. (BLS and HoTM). this is a less well-rounded version than yours, however unique only build using molten strike. Giant's Bane offers strength as well as Iron Grip which adds over 128% projectile damage to the meatballs! Jewels add 2 meatballs each for 7 per attack (i think conc effect mitigating the spread added by these jewels in my chosen links is a good thing?) possibly noteworthy info: 1.1khp 641 STRENGTH! (up to 658 with better rolls, or 725 skipping the wildfire jewels and dual wielding with RT) 8% fire pen and unwavering stance on tree (in keeping with the unique only theme, the lack of elreon jewellery means this build can't spam MS endlessly) this build for anyone interested: https://pastebin.com/dfH3kGCa Dual wield, dual strike RT version with max str: https://pastebin.com/KKdH8QqE good luck in the pvp season! " I have been tinkering with Molten strike too and it absolutely obliterates enemies when paired with the wildfire jewels. I am at a bit of a loss as to use conc or not. on one hand you might get an extra ball to hit, but only against non-moving targets and lets be honest, most people tend to move when you hit them :D Hadn't thought about giantsbane though, nice touch. My build was made specifically to counter ranged builds in eLLD, which is why it has so much ehp (also because my aim is seriously bad). I need the extra life to engage and disengage safely. Would like to see how yours does against mine when i get back from holiday :D Colorblind? - Check out the Unofficial colourblind mode!
