So to sum up some MoM Zerphi interaction history:
The first iteration common Zerphi build was able to use Blood Magic and Scolds, and have uncapped amount of heal because it didn't use the mana pool for mana cost, but only as some damage reduction buffer, any amount of mana gained worked. The second iteration after the Scold nerf was forced to go fully mana based to maintain using Scolds and self-damaging CWDT, but it needed very high damage taken gained as mana stat (30%ish to match MoM drain), as the skill costs were paid in actual mana, so damage taken from Scolds and opponents wasn't allow to deplete the mana pool as it would disable the casting/attacking ability and all heals. Too much mana gain was also a flaw, becuase big hits would fill the mana pool ending the flask effect and heal, so this version had a cap of heal based on the mana recovery investment, flasks and regen. NoN-scold version was still able to go Blood Magic, but it needed to manually drain the mana pool to keep up Zerphi, and it had no self-damage CWDT abilities. The current change to mana gain cuts the damage reduction of MoM, and the ability to sustain scold self-damaging CWDT builds, as MoM would deplete any mana pool, so sustaining skill costs would be unmanageable. My prediction for the third iteration is the comeback of Blood Magic Zerphi. There are some convenient changes to MoM too, such as applying to DoTs, which makes it easier to sustain low mana through Blood Rage or RF, no need to manually cast a second skill to drain it, and the heal rate will not be capped by mana recovery. It won't be a CWDT DPS build any more without Scold, but it can keep the op tankiness. IGN: Márkusz
