Ever wonder why it's the same 10 people posting the same threads over and over and over on PvP Discussion regarding Standard HLD PvP?
Yes? No? Of course not, because sheeple can only answer "baa," even when they mean "no". Here's my flat-lining Five Point Plan to increase participation within the PvP Discussion forums: (Disclaimer: If you believe you/your applies to you - then it does.) 1.) If you really want to build a bridge or close the vast chasm(s) within the PvP community, you may have to start actually networking – and not just with the same ten people posting the same HLD porn… or you know, start mapping with random strangers again like you did back in whatever PoE Beta you brag to have crawled out of... *snarf 2.) Get together with “lesser established" PvP centered/membered guilds - share and refine ideas for builds that don’t rely on patch-specific/neglected oversights. 3.) Groom/instruct (individual) people interested in PvP and let them pass on that knowledge – don’t just recruit them into your guild – let them build their own. 4.) Realize that your social justice wet-dream came true and the wage gap in PoE exists: RNG is a malicious, fickle, non-egalitarian turd. 5.) Don't attack anyone and everyone, not linked into your connected by moistened-rectal-suction clique, about what opinions they may post in PvP Discussion - especially if it differs from your incontinent internal monologue (therefore eventually external). Keep in mind before aiming for growth and networking you need the foundation. Trying to get people to PvP when there are no builds for them to check out that are up to date will kill interest for example.
Selling something before it is ready to be sold will make people hate it | |

and besides, you should understand that, like stock market, economy and banking system, pvp, in its nature, main driving thing that fuels and keeps it moving are instincts, jealousy, hatred and ego. individual players and their attitude dont decide pvp's fate. we act with our instincts, with the reptilian brain we have: we are pvp players, we beat each other, we humiliate each other, we make each other feel bad, we make fun of each other, we talk how shitty "the others" are from their behind, we love drama, we love blaming each other for what pvp had become. this is what pvp about. always was, always will be. there is nothing wrong about that. pvp arenas and duel arenas are something where playrs unleash their instincts and you can't expect them to be polite, welcoming, friendly, happy :D::D ::)))) like that. we are not responsible of regulating what pvp/pvp scene is and what pvp/scene will become, GGG is making millions from this game, it's their concern. we just fit ourselves in to what we have. all in all, we are pvp community, 10-15 guys, yeah... but Why 10-15 people? that's something that GGG games should ask themselves, not us, we are just pvp players, who abuse the most of broken pve balance offers to us, you can't blame people, you can't blame X or Y, you can't lib because he is using EA, you can't blame Mulla for being toxic since years, you can't blame Simplesim because he is using every one shotter build since the very beginning, you can't blame shin or markusz for unleashing scolds + zerphi. like in economy, when we see a gap, and open spot, we just fill it with out presence. we just fit ourselves in the so called "meta" and expand till we devour the others. if we can't we bring it to forums and start dramas over unimportant things. that's what pvp is about. TL;DR
1-we asked the questions you did before many times, and there are threads about it.i did a thread about tiramisu recipe to show, they don't care about us. you may check. 2-pvp players are like dogs chasing cars, they act with their instincts. 3-people come to pvp to with comptitive feelings, also most of us are filled with toxic feelings from real life issues or too much passion we have towards something yet having nothing in return. 4- players are not responsible of regulating anything pvp related. without support of pvp, or without pve content getting boring(like what happened in D2) don't expect any regulations. 5- pvp community being 15 people is not a cause of the problem, it's a result of the problem, and that is overtuned pve mechanics and lack of proper pvp damage multipliers. 6- players just open the open doors and explore what is inside. if the door leads somebody to play leg kaoms + EA, you can't blame them, whoever let the door open, they are to blame. and that is GGG. 7- regulations happen naturally if there is something to have fun with. poe pvp is something that happens in 5 seconds, it's not about fun, it's mostly about seeking sense of progression after you find something new and perfect it. the fun is there. not in gameplay. so we don't care about regulations much.
