My gear cost me about 50c since the only online people selling elreon jewelry were pricing it a bit higher. Would've cost about 30c if I bought the gear mid-league.

I must say, that with these LLD builds cropping up and PT doing some good work stoking interest in LLD, I just may come back to it next temp league XD.

What gg vagan weapon is there to compare to?
Beating those dualwielded tempestuous steels won't be easy, 60% added elemental damage + 30% all elemental penetration, so juicy. It's also quite a complex calculation, the steels benefit equally from all sources of added elemental damage, while a rare vagan will be stuck using 1 type of elemental penetration. |

ok could you tell me lvl 28 max rolled vagan weapon dps? i dont know. can be dagger / sword. preferably both.

I guess the real benefit of these weapons is that you can use culling strike ungil's in offhand. | |

Another layer of complexity: direct comparison between vagan and tempestuous is pretty hard since they require different setups imo :p
As a simplification, using the setup of the OP (gear+links), ignoring crits, ignoring the tree, ignoring the opponents armour, ignoring the equal multipliers (like pdps support, attack speed from gear/tree, ...) gives: A) = tempestuous B) = vagan dagger Flat physical damage before multipliers: A) 29-60 + 6-9 + 4-10 + 3-8 + 5-15 + 6-9 = 53-111 = 82 => ... *0.5 = 41 (phys to lightning) B) 50-129 + 6-9 + 4-10 + 3-8 + 5-15 + 6-9 = 74-180 = 127 => ...*0.5 = 63.5 Attack speed before multipliers: A) 1.35 B) 1.67 Added fire damage: A) 30% vs 45% resists B) 0% vs 75% resists Added cold damage: A) 26% vs 45% resists B) 26% vs 75% resists Added lightning damage: A) 50% + 12% + 30% = 92% vs 45% resists B) 50% + 12% = 62% vs 75% resists Adding it all together: A) 41.0 * 1.35 + 82 * 1.35 * 1.42 * (0.3+0.26+0.92) * 0.55 = 55.35 pdps + 127.96 edps = 183.31 dps B) 63.5 * 1.67 + 127 * 1.67 * 1.42 * (0+0.26+0.62) * 0.25 = 106.05 pdps + 66.26 edps = 172.31 dps So with the tempestuous steel setup, the tempestuous steels do a tiny bit more damage than a gg vagan weapon. The tempestuous setup can be scaled a lot further with better rolled gear, a dedicated vagan dagger/sword build will probably look completely different and do relatively better with that build. All in all it seems pretty balanced to me. The only thing broken here is blade flurry. |
