Problem with lightning strike

I have noticed that LS does not break traps on the ground with its projectiles. I find this strange because LS is hindered by objects on the ground and cant move through them. Skills like kinetic blast can travel over objects and over missing terrain but still destroys up traps with the projectiles from the blast.

Would be cool to see LS either travel over objects on the ground or break traps as it passes through them.

This annoyed me for the longest time too and I feel like it just doesn't make any sense. I've also been wanting to use LS somehow. Luckily one day I found a way to deal with this and all of my other problems as well. I took the gem out of my shit weapon and destroyed it. Afterwards I equipped myself with some good old facebreakers and felt freaking amazing. The damage was unreal and I barely even remember how useless and annoying the LS was.

LS get sopped by cart and shit in arena, not mentioning leap slammer can just leap over. Skill is better to use like Rupenus did in past AKA whirling to close distance and point blank at semi melee distance.

Not even mentioning SRS type minions just fly over.

IT would be awesome if it was breaking traps but apart this, this skill can t be used as a main one.

LS gets no love, doesnt even have a MTX effect and its one of the oldest skills lmfao.

I don't use LS, but it seems remarkably laggy in Arena for some reason. And the reason it doesn't kill traps is because, as far as I know, traps can only be destroyed by AOE damage

maybe what you say true but i know that whirling blades destroys traps too.

I putted this 2H Mace on a lvl 28 Shadow to use the Arcing Blows nodes with that Mace and Lightning Strike. Pretty fun. It is not competetive in any way, what I just found funny was the very high DPS u could get with it cuz of Physical To Lightning with a 2h Mace on a Shadow. (9k on the melee attack). I dont play PvP anymore though. I just did it for the luls.

It even has way slower attack speed than a duelist would have for using that Mace but it still has higher DPS despite of this.
