Disconnects! Disconnects! DISCONNECTS!!

Well I have just about quit playing POE, after over 2 years of enjoyment. Thanks for that guys. Great game and loads of fun.

However in the last month I have gotten disconnected to death. I have tried other servers to no avail. Seems to happen in important times. The labyrinth freezes up after I am nearly done, all 5 other party members join me in a map and - FREEZE, then disconnect. It is quite common in Zana quests.

I have 20 meg downstream and 3 meg up and have had that for about a year.

The disconnects really takes the fun out of the game.

I find myself doing a lot of other things rather than playing POE now. Just do not want to get through the labs near the end just to disconnect. It is so prevalent that I can expect it more than 1/2 the time and 2 or 5 times every several hour session I play.

color me disappointed...

great report, with your detailed description they will surely be able to fix the problematic skills or skill/environment interaction in no-time.

I have posted detailed bug reports and many suggestions over the years and have NEVER, repeat: NEVER, received any response from GGG. Not even a 'Thanks for the suggestion but we won't be doing that now.'

Except the one time when they erroneously deleted what they thought was a double post...

Except, these "umexpected disconnction has occured" happens so frequently there is no excuse as to why these have no been fixed yet.

By the way, I've been playing PoE since release. That's right since the D2 1.10 days. NEVER have I seen the game as bad as it stands now. In 1 of 10 attempts of attempting to log in. I actually make it into town, but as soon as I try to change areas(maps) the game goes straight to login screen again.

I used to play this game 80 + hours a week, but now, even if I still wanted to, I couldn't.

GGG time to add more servers, admins, AND correct your bugs. At this point you're losing money and your loyal user base.

You've successfully resurrected a thread from 9 years ago.

How do you know these disconnects aren't a routing problem or some other issue related to the connection? What testing have you done? I see only this one post from your account's history.

I'd recommend following the instructions in the spoiler below very closely ensuring you capture the proper Instance Server IP address that your client is connected to while the problem is happening.
