Lack of information from GGG about how ladder/invitational spots work and the actual system.

GGG did not give any information about when the ladder rating was going to end and i definatively think this is an issue, i got catched off guard trying to gain rating at the last moments before we get monday in new zealand because this is the only date i could base myself on about when the ladder actually ends, as i reached the #2 rank on the US ladder to then check the announcement 14 minutes after they reached monday in new zealand i realized that spots were actually dediced and secured before monday without any information, countdowntimer or anything in general.

Here is the only line that i could base myself on for the ladder rating ending time.

This weekend we are running the final events of the current competitive seasons. This is your last chance to win your spot in our invitationals. We'll be posting the event invitations on Monday, so you'll need to get in quick to score your position!

In my opinion this doesnt even give any information whatsoever about when thing's actually end when it comes to ladder rating, i'm also sure people in the top 10 would have gave it a go if they actually knew.

There needs to be an actual timer for the ladder spots so people can fight for it at the last moments, this only makes sense and you have to give proper informations to pvpers when there are such prices available. I really dont know how i was supose to guess that it was going to be calculated randomly before monday, totally not fair for someone who wants to give a go for it before it ends. As a side note no one was even queuing hours before monday arrived and i actually had to PM pvpers to ask them to queue so i could fight them and gain rating if i win the match, to then receive a email from GGG about the fact that i asked people to queue so i could gain rating, i dont know how that is considered ladder boosting when they cant even see the match. I'm happy for the ones that got their spots, but at the same time i'm really disappointed by the lack of communication and proper informations from GGG, i hope this is going to wake them up for next seasons that are coming.

Another part i want to discuss is the fact that GGG did not precise how spots actually work, i've seen people resign for a won swiss event to access another one and actually letting them dedice wether they want to play EU or US, also the fact that you could access the LLD invitational with points from HLD events, i dont know how that makes sense to be able to access an LLD metagame from winning points in a totally different environnement like HLD. GGG really needs to precise how things work so we can adapt to it and not get caught off guard. I'm sure more people would have gained points from HLD events if it was clear that you could access LLD via doing this, in general there really needs to be a whole thread explaining how everything exactly works.

Ladder boosting, this is a huge issue and something needs to be implemented so no one can do this anymore, this one dude that went to 2400 rating in eu was really ridiculous and GGG needs to do something about this for upcoming seasons because it will only get abused even more since everyone knows about this as of now.
