PvP Questions : Lv100 vs Lv100

Hello i would like to understand one time for all these problems:


-1) imagine you can have all charachter lv100. with all items in the entire server
what will be the most overpowered Build\Class in the game? ( you can have ALL items and gems)


-2) I read and saw about a mod on weapon that can allows you to "Cause Bleeding on hit"
That will be the most overpower stat in PvP , in terms of lv100 with all items you want?
am i right? what could be the top best lv100 build with that stats?
Duelist life, crit based with weapon "cause bleeding on hit"?
or a CI shadow , ES based , crit with dagger "cause bleeding on hit"?


-3) My last question is a teory PvP :
imagine you have a lv100 marauder FULL TANK AEGIS AURORA BLOCK with these stats:
-7500 Life
-1500 ES ( you have aegis aurora)
-Cannot be stunned , your hit always hit .
-All Resistances 75% (including chaos)
-Physical damage reduction 75% ( no endurance charge or flask up)
-Life regen second 10% (750Life x Second)
-Auras: Determination , Tempest shield
-Total block with tempest shield 57%
-Dps 20k

you are going to face a duelist with a weapon "Reduce block chance enemy of 12%"
And this duelist also using the gem that reduce enemy block of around 30%
And that duelist also using the passive node that reduced enemy block of 15%

Now your marauder lv100 has no Block 0%! completly , he only can use Flask to 40% block more.

My questions are:
At this point with a duelist so "un-blockable" what can u do? nothing? you lose?
imagine u can have all items in the game, so there will be no answer "depend on gear"
Who will win?
-Marauder using flask that grants +40% block ?
-or duelist that is super fast and godly dps crit?


Now imagine the same scenary but vs a Shadow godly geared and with "Cause bleeding on hit"
dagger\claw.
who will win?
-Marauder with 56% block but reduced of 30% by the gem used by the shadow in his 6L chest?
-Or shadow that can cause bleeding on hit , buffed by the amazign passive nodes
and with his incredible dps on hit.?



Can u make me some exemple even in private or explain me pretty deep the mechanic
of god PVP vs god PVP


marauder vs duelist vs shadow

the other build are just hybrid of these
or if u have other idea of what is the most OP char\build just lemme know

My main problem is
Marauder lv100 epic godly geared with:
7500Life
1500 ES , aegis aurora (56% block)
750 life regen x second
75% all max res, including chaos
80% physical reduction


flask can he use in his inventory :
Block flask +40% , Block Flask +40% , Life Flask , Life Flask , Granite flask to reach over 90%
reduction physical


Can he lose if face pvping a player that reduce his block of 0% ?
-But the marauder can use flask to reach one more time 40% block for 5 seconds.

Can he lose if face pvping a player that bleeding on hit ATOMIC DPS dmg?
-But the marauder can use flask to remove bleeding for 5 second (so the dps will come only from
the first second of bleeding and from the PURE DPS hit.

Marauder(str), Witch(int) and Rangers(dex) are the non hybrid characters, not duelist, marauder and shadow.

Shadow ss witch and ranger hybrid(int/dex)
Duelist is marauder and ranger hybrid(str/dex)
Templar is maruader and witch hybrid(str/int)

Regarding PvP there are tons of different builds that do well vs one another. You can't name the best build

The bleeding is a level 1 Puncture which will not be the most overpowered stat in PvP at all.

This is not correct, you'd have (58*(1-0.57)) 24.51% block chance left
The block chance reduction is not flat

20,000 DPS does not sound like it will be enough to kill most builds in a competetive level. 2H marauders will most likely not die from you due to high life pool, rangers also have high life and will just outrange you and casters will just block and you'll probably not have high APS rate so they'll just recharge their es//their cwdt/molten/tempest will kill you.

Based of your theorymarauder, a good duelist will easily win vs you, no doubt.
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

I do some theory for u too.(I like theory in POE)
armor dont count as def stat, cos most dmg u got from elemental (fire, Lightning), or if u got enemy with pure phys and this enemy got 2500-4000+ dmg(dont look at dps its for pve only)on hit , he ignorre ur armor, so u have only CWDT and some block (Tommy tell u how many). This is for phys, but u can see a smart pvper with elemental set+penetration gem in (21lvl 36%)+2%nod+3%nod if he wanna max his pen . So u got only some block+(75%res-36%-2%-3%=34%)res from his elemental att.So i cant say who is a winner of this fight...

There is no best PVP build. Some builds do better vs other builds in 1v1, some are better for teams, some are better for FFA.

Your build contributes maybe 25% to your PVP success. Other 75% include your strategy(s) vs different builds, your ability to anticipate your opponent, your ability to adapt, flask management, arena control, positioning, item management and so on.

It is not easy finding a balance between defensive and offensive stats, one needs a lot of calculating/thinking and experimenting. However good you do this, there is no guarantee it will last in the following patches.


In 1.2 I think the strongest builds for 1v1 were acro/crit daggers followed by acro/puncture bows/trappers and casters/spell trappers. Now 1h + shield is quite bad, owing to the block and acro nerf so the huge life pools + 2h approach is probably strongest melee atm. Casters were always solid, now they are a bit too strong due to "cast on..." gems but even if these were removed casters would still be ok. Bow is in a solid place atm - anyone fought TanteBums?

Sadly casters have been able to use cwdt+cws 1shot spells past 1.5 years without any adjustments
