Feedback FFA
The event was fun at first but right now bewteen field full traps cyclone with tons of dps it's pretty meh.
1)Scoreboard when dying/respawing, i got no time to press esc everytime it causually comes up, pls remove it or give us an option to show it only when we want, maybe an hotkey could be nice. 2)Loading screen and reshuffle, way too much, some times i got reshuffle 3 times in a row, so many times i got moved when i have an enemy very low, i'm sure if there was more people the system could work better, i remember the first events FFA were better as reshuffle of the arena there was less. 3)Strategy it's pretty simple, quicksilver, find somebody u can kill else run, kill only what u can, and suicide if u got no pots and get reasonabily kill anybody else, i see people avoid me all the time because they see the Mtx i usually finish with 65 to 75 points i did one event without mtx i got 98, and basically so only one player running away consistently. 4) Range getting free kills and with more mobility than melee, so many times i see clulster of people meleeing, one guy with a bow comes, spam TS 3 times and everybody is dead, or trow 3 traps at the time and u step on it and is GG, next, very stupid and frustrating. Nerf Puncture to at least 30% on the initial damage and moving damage down to like 35%, or remove point black gem in LLD just puts the damage over top. 5)Traps on spawn points, if i'm melee and somebody it's standing still on their spawn point i have to wait for them to move or cast something, i can't stack my damage like a trapper. Trapper comes drops 3 traps, guy on spawn point move gets one shotted GG. Make spawn points random, else people will stack traps on it. 6)Map the center is made for range player with Blink arrow i can't chase them down because they going to blink down or up and i can flicker one time then wait, and HOPE that i'm not desync that in that map it's basically all the time. Blink arrow doesn't desync because u target the ground while flicker desync very hard because people move and u target player and players run pretty fast. 7)Melee vs Range Melee desync is simple there always, i have to namelock enemy to hope the pathfinding gets me to the enemy and i don't step on too a trap, because i have no idea where my charater is on the server so i can't even move out of the trap, while range get well the range just need spam close to the target and it will hit no problem. 8) Cyclone Facebracker, not sure what happen but it's basically 100%-0 with the right gear the last few FFA Cyclone facebracker it's almost always on top, reduce damage of cyclone atleast 30% and facebreaker damage atleast an other 20%. 9)Chill+Temp chain The nerfed temp chain is nice but with the gloves that auto tempchain everything u hit and chill it's basically a death trap and the damage of FP that it's usually used in that fashion with the glove it's very strong, even with the new ring with chil reduction it's not enough, nerf the combination of chill+temp chain like a 20%. 10) Legacy gear and gear there is no way i can craft anymore, they only reason right now melee sword/board can compete with the other builds it's based on Op gear, and yes somebody could say u can farm and get a better one even from like a drop with perfect stats, but the ultimate weapon can't be crafted anymore( Vagan sword + physical/Accuracy% that can't be crafted anymore) and that weapon can make a charater do so much more damage it's nuts, the top LLD knows who has one of those. Ack, very good summary of what FFA state is now.
Especially the last point makes often the difference. The decision to remove the Hybridmod might be ok when there was no PvP. I don't get it why the Mastercrafted weapons with Hybridmod were allowed to be used in PvP. Either you remove the mod in conjunction with a PvP ban or you give every player the opportunity to craft such a weapon himself. I'd say the numbers of participating players in the FFA events is decreasing constantly because of this imbalence. No one wants to be cannon fodder for the lucky top 20 - top 30 players who were able to craft their weapons before the patch. | |
" I think a lot of people are blaming their losses solely on not having legacy weapons, when the top players would likely still be top players with top rares without legacy crafts. I dare say most bows are not hybrid modded, casters don't need a thing legacy hybrid crafted, and a facebreaker counter build can be OP with regular 800s. Honestly I had a 165 pdps rare before I ever got my legacy hybrid 181 sword, the difference is nice but it's not night and day. |

Well it does make the difference, and it will cost nothing to introduce back the hybryd back for ilv 36 and less.
Also the main difference it's for the very op weapon, Vagan sword + multi crafted makes dps go beyond anything. Ign:ColdRage

" A vagan's weapon with a vicious regal mod is really ideal, which is still attainable without the hybrid mod, and actually doesn't benefit from the hybrid mod at all. It did become a little too easy to get high caliber weapons with hybrid, beforehand you needed to work for your upgrades. Wait are you saying a vagans sword with phys% and phys/accuracy?
