Why did GGG abandon the old descent race?

IMO it was the most fun, challenging and immersive race they have created.
Descent champions is inferior in every way, and the normal races are kind of boring since we have played through the acts thousands of times at this point. | |

Didn't have any more or less packsize RNG than DC and was actually fairly challenging.
The race never had any serious problems that couldn't have easily been fixed. " You? #1 Victim of Murphy's Law.

I think old descent will be the "casual" signature race next season. Last season was EL, this season is descent champs, and next season will probably be descent.
