I would consider using the sword for a ST build in 1.3. Get one with corrupted flat chaos, master flat chaos damage on jewelry. Tree would need tons of attack speed, chaos/projectile damage... Just a thought.

Seems difficult to get full advantage from both the Chaos and ele dmg of the sword. Lightning strike would Work for that, but it is a sucky skill in LLD. Mana cost is too high, and the 28 percent ele dmg is not rly worth that. Anyways this sword is meant to represent Demons From Beyond more than it is meant to be practical. (Chaos and Ele dmg.) I considered this sword too at some point too cuz it looks fun, but the stats are not rly that amazing. Slow attack speed also bad for flat Chaos dmg.
Just compare it to this: But im sure u could do something fun with Edge of Madness still ( : Chaos/Elemental Demon with 2H Sword build. I would love to see how that would Work out :D. Sadly no block pen or attack speed ) : Build just fits the idea of str based sword and not dex based sword, since etched great sword is a hard hitting but slow str sword. Not saying that the build would be competetive in pvp or anything tho. If I had the patience for leveling I would try pain bite on this templar tree just to see how it worked out. Alot of patches back there was actually block pen on these templar sword nodes. |
