Race Rewarding idea

So I have changed my mind on races slightly, I think they should have some reward (in addition to current) for improvement. I really think they should have a reward for the bad players who become less bad like me. Like I could train for 20 years and would still not be fast enough to win a race. Not to take anything way from the good players, I have a lot of respect and awe of them, but they should consider rewarding improvement also.
