Iron man race

I think we need ironman solo/party races.

Rules,
cannot buy items from town,
going back to town does not refill flask,
you cannot use skill points,
You cannot trade,
If you pick up a item you cannot drop it for another player, you can only destroy it.
You cannot back track and do zones over, you must progress
You must do each quest in order or you cannot progress, this includes all side quest.
town portals do not work ( just add a 999999 minute wait timer on them )

Race is 1 hour long

Add extra mods as needed for the race depending on how people do.


This would be a fun race mode, it would be hard, but allow people to push their limits and skills.

Rules:

You have 1 hit point and no energy shield

Interesting idea.

I don't agree with having to do side quests since they aren't required to progress the game's story line.

I'm thinking one race mod they can pull out of this post is:

SCAVENGER
-players are unable to buy from vendors, although they would be allowed to sell.

They already have the Famine mod for races.

I'm thinking an IRON MAN race mode would include the mods:
-Famine
-Scavenger
-passive tree disabled
-town portals disabled
-players cannot create new zone instances

I wonder if GGG would include such races in the future?

sounds more like ultimate rng race rather than some kind of iron man

Iron Man in ARPG term means 1 char only in HC mode towning only after a quest allowed.

That means NO GEM mules.

Aka famine race only with only 1 character. No TPs only WPs and they are usable only once.
