Unexplained and unintuitive quest mechanics

Can we maybe stop with the "if you don't do this arbitrary action immediately, you can always waste 10 more hours later so don't worry" philosophy? It's all over the game but to give an example which mad eme write this post:
After killing Arbiter of Divinity for the first time, you get some free atlas points by getting one of the fortress sections completed automatically. I still have no idea which specific action you need to do to get this. There were like 6 interactive points around the arena. First one I clicked gave me the black atlas screen so I had to restart. Then each time I clicked one I saw a beam shooting outwards to precursor towers in the walls, so I thought "right, need to complete the towers to get the points in that section." Nope, and you can't go back and do it properly, it just all disappears. Go kill the Arbiter again and this time look for the thing to do on the internet I guess. Game certainly doesn't give you any clue what to do. I know we are in EA, and I know it's a meme that GGG doesn't test or play their own games ever, but come on, nobody picked up on this during development? Last bumped on Jun 8, 2026, 1:05:43 AM
