Unusually High Latency Only in Path of Exile (Brazil)

I would like to report a latency issue that I have been experiencing exclusively in Path of Exile1 and Path of Exile 2.

I live in a city (Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil) that has a local Internet Exchange Point (IX/PTT), and my connection performs exceptionally well in virtually all online services. In competitive games such as Valorant, CS2, League of Legends, and others, my latency to Brazilian servers is typically below 10 ms.

However, in Path of Exile, my latency consistently remains between 47 and 50 ms, regardless of the time of day. The connection is stable, with no packet loss or significant fluctuations, but the route being used appears to be much longer than expected for my location.

I have already performed several tests and have not identified any issues with my local network, hardware, or ISP. Since the problem occurs exclusively in Path of Exile, I believe it may be related to the routing between my ISP and the infrastructure used by the game servers.

I would like to know:

Is there a way to verify whether my connection is being routed through an inefficient path?
Is there any possibility of optimizing peering or routing for certain regions of Brazil?
Could the team analyze WinMTR or traceroute results if I provide them?

I understand that 47–50 ms is not extremely high latency, but considering my location and the performance I achieve in other games hosted in Brazil, this value seems significantly higher than expected.

I would appreciate any guidance or investigation that could help identify the cause of this issue.

Yes; and the subsequently mentioned MTR test is how that would be done.
