Playing Standard

I played back when the game released, but stopped after the first patch nerfed everything.

I thought I'd come back and mess around with my original build in Standard end game. But I wanted to know what patch notes/rules should I be looking up for builds? I realize that the new league is supposed to have the new patch related changes, but what version is currently applicable to Standard?

Basically, if I looked at build guides that were released for v0.4, would that apply to the Standard league right now?

So I remember when 0.2.0 was released the only real difference was not getting the new items/classes. But everything else was updated to the new version.

Is that what happened with 0.5.0 as well?
