Journey to the East - Loreweave Questline?

Hi! Just found a quest item for what I'm 90% sure is related to obtaining the Loreweave Body Armour!! Figured I'd make a post about it asking yall whether you've gotten it too, and whether you've looked into how to obtain it.

Uh... guess I'll start heading east to see what's up. Maybe thru the ocean, maybe over the land, who knows!!

Yes, I found this item in one of the holes of the expedition. But so far I have no idea what it is for. I'm moving east.
