Runeshape combinations

Can someone please explain if I'm missing something ( or maybe doing something wrong ) as in 90% of times I only get 3-4 runeshape combination spawn and the rest are with just 5 runes, never saw one with 6 or more.

I have 2 chars at 90, no missing recipe ( did the quest, triple checked )
