Unable to start the quest "Abyssal Power"

I was carried to the Kulemak boss before starting the "Abyssal Power" quest. Despite becoming an Abyssal Lich, the Abyssal Power quest is unfortunately bugged. Whenever i encounter the Lurking Creature after completing an abyss map, the quest appears in the quest list inviting me to talk to the Lurking Creature, but it's not possible because the Lurking Creature's dialogue is missing, and the dialogue box only contains a clickable "Goodbye," making it impossible to start the quest.
