Possible Causes of CTD

Was experiencing nonstop crashes to desktops today. Crashed 10+ times in a single map. Deleting the shader cache did not help.

Thing that helped:

Task Manager -> POE -> Details -> Set Affinity -> turning off cores 0 and 1.

This actually fixed it for a while before I started using ritualist to steal mods from monsters (Psuedo headhunter node). Crashes started again when I used them and stopped the moment I stopped using that skill? So it might be related.
