Cannot ascend to abyssal lich in 0.5 after killing kulemak

Hello.

I'm playing 0.5 in hardcore (idk if that matters) charactername Beachlover. I got to the endgame, tought I was able to ascend to abyssal lich. Brought one kulemak's invitation, but it was useless for the moment because I had to do the abyss questline before being able to attempt to fight him. I did the questline of abyss, got a kulemak's invitation flaged as "quest item". Entered the kulemaks fight with both kulemak's invitation in my inventory, killed him choose to "take the finger", the fight ended, drops looted, and nothing happend. No finger, no pop-up asking if I would like to change my ascendency to abyssal lich, no npc to talk. But I had two kulemak's invitation in my inventory before entering the arena, after the fight endend I then checked it consumed the nonquest item, the key I brought from the currency exchange.

After that, I tried to go to Kulemak again, but my kulemak's invitation questitem was not making visible/clickable the UI to jump down the well to fight kulemak. I brought another kulemak's invitation then from the currency exchange, the UI was there, then I put the kulemak's invitation in the stash, then entered the fight with the quest item. Then the same thing happend. Killed him choose to "take the finger", the fight ended, drops looted, and nothing happend. No finger, no pop-up asking if I would like to change my ascendency to abyssal lich, no npc to talk.

Killed two more times, same results.

That's really sad, because I'm playing a physical build and picked the lich just to become later an abyssal lich. Please check this out and patch it.

TLDR: Consuming a nonquest item key to enter kulemak fight before the quest item key might have bricked my character from changing my ascendency.
