latest update and now the game crashes as soon as I load into the game

I am on steam and I have not been able to play for a few hours. I cannot even get into the world. The character seems to load fine. I have deleted the config file, started up in directx11, and verified file integrity. It always says there are two files and they will be downloaded. The last time this happened. I had to delete the entire game and then reinstall. I do not want to have to reinstall a 150gb game because of a 10mg update you all pushed through. Please help and thanks in advance for saving me the data.
