Missing Merchant transaction

I was in a middle of a map (Cliffside) when i got a notification that an item of mine sold - it was an Amethyst Ring for 10 divine. I was happy because that means I could finally get Brutus' Brain for my build. After completing the map, I check my Merchant (The Master's Servant) and there wasn't the complete sale halo thing and there was nothing in Earnings. Check the Sale History in game and on the trade site and it doesn't exist.

Did Middleton screwed up?

curiosity got the best of me - I checked standard league sale history and the sale was actually from there.

Is that normal to get notification for standard trade?
