Bodach (Ritual Pinnacle Boss) Stuck in Darkness after 1st goddess mechanic

When fighting the Bodach, I run after the green spirits during the mechanic. Afterward, there is only darkness. I take DoT damage until I die. Voicelines play, but even if I go to where I think they are happening, there is only darkness.

Additionally, while following the green wisp, I often take uninterrupted darkness damage while standing directly on one of the wisps and following their path exactly.

Seem unable to complete Ritual Questline due to this.
