Whirling Assault Client Crash

Im playing hollow form whirling assualt, and its a client crash often twice a map. crashing insta ends ritual which sucks, im on xbox and im playing with my friend on pc, we both hit the crash at the same time and for him it says "BUFFER UNDERFLOW". i assume this is known but its so frequent i wanna feel like im doing something to help atleast. he is on a heavy drinker support and literally hits no buttons so its purely just whirling assault/hollow form
