Bricked Abyss quest progress with Delirum

I finished a grand mirror and the game allowed me to place the simulacrum in my abyss region. I put it there out of curiosity, and now the simulacrum is at the northernmost node of the southern wound. The fogbank is only the southern wound itself, none of which nodes I can access, so I can't build deliriousness to access the simulacrum and I believe I am completely locked out of progressing my Abyss questline.
