Hollow Form "clone" w/ Leer Cast

Leer Cast does not affect damage with any skill as a result of spawning in clones.

Are the hollow form astral projections clones? If they are shouldn't leer cast work?

There was even a bug fix in 0.5.0 to ensure leer casts modifier could stack when there were multiple instances of it.

If hollow form is not supposed to clone gear etc.... why does lochtonial caress triggers go off?

If triggers are inherited exclusively, then are support gems as well? (Molten shower - brutus lead sprinkler)
