Current Location on Atlas no appearing

I do not have the icon for my current location on my atlas. I can progress forward and when i scroll far away the icon does not appear either. It is supper annoying trying to figure out pathing and which maps to click on without the current location icon. I tried emptying the mini map cache and it did not fix the issue. Anyone else have this issue?
