Doryani’s story quests Arbiter of Ash not working

I’m experiencing a problem with Doryani’s story quests.
The quest item from the left part of the castle (the Wolf Jænonor) did not drop for me, and the map was marked as completed. Because of that, I had to buy part of the key to enter the central corridor.

After I entered, Doryani sent me to the tower and told me to go to the Matriarch and Patriarch, but he didn’t show their locations on the map. I went to both of them, picked up the quest items, and — as Doryani asked — inserted them into the correct spot. However, Doryani is silent, and nothing happens.

It seems the quest is bugged again. How can I fix this situation?
The maps with the quest items are now closed, the quest items are in place, but the quest won’t trigger.
