Cannot progress with story

I had completed the boss leading to the quest 'The Search' in Act 4 where I am supposed to enter the excavated site. I had died as the boss died. Everything played out with the npcs and it advanced the quest to the one I listed above. However, it did not open the doors for me to go in. I have tried logging off and back on with nothing resetting it allowing me to progress.

I have also tried playing back through to reset the boss which did not work. The map for the area with the boss did not reset. When I get to the boss area, it replays part of the end fight dialogue then stops before the npc kills the boss. Kanu's body is still on the ground with the doors closed.
