Lost Diamond

On performing a reveal in the well of souls the game disconnected from the server. Upon logging back in I lost the diamond. Not in inventory.

2 additional crashes "game server lost contact with the realm". Both times lost a level 10 waystone. After logging back in it takes me to my hideout. I can't play until this is patched since the cost is too much.

Post-0.5.0b Patch (June 2, 2026) - Severe Realm Disconnects & Instance Crashes Making Maps Unplayable. The latest hotfix this morning (June 2, 2026) has made the game significantly more unstable for me. Disconnects from the realm are now much worse than before. Pre-patch behavior:
The game would occasionally disconnect but usually recovered and reconnected automatically, or at least let me rejoin the instance quickly. Current behavior (since today's patch): It now fully exits to the "Connect to Realm" / login screen.
Any loot on the ground disappears.
Map progress is completely lost.
The Waystone is gone (I've lost multiple Level 10 Waystones already).

On top of the general instability, I've had two additional crashes today with the exact error: "Game server lost contact with the realm." Both times I lost a Level 10 Waystone and everything in the map. After logging back in, I'm dumped straight into my hideout with no option to rejoin the failed instance.

This has completely broken the risk/reward of running maps. The time and resource investment (especially higher-tier Waystones) is now way too high when a random disconnect or server hiccup can wipe all progress and your investment with zero warning. I (and many others, it seems) literally cannot safely play maps right now because the cost of failure is too punishing. GGG, please prioritize a fix for these realm disconnects and instance stability. The new endgame in Return of the Ancients is awesome when it works, but right now it's too risky to engage with. I'm sitting in my hideout waiting for a patch because playing feels like gambling with my Waystones. Has anyone else been hit especially hard by this after today's hotfixes? EU / NA / etc.? Any temporary workarounds?
