Gathering Storm + Tempest Bell Interaction Bugged

I really want to play the new Gathering Storm & Tempest Bell combo, but it has been bugged since launch. The bells don't blow up even when you hit it with a perfectly timed Gathering Storm.

I have a similar problem. I don't have any issue with the bells blowing up but the shocked ground effect doesn't appear, unless I unequip the aurora tempest bell mtx. Have you tried testing without the mtx? I think that might be cause.
