Completely stuck, being held hostage in Twisted Domain

I just cleared the hives and was doing Xesht for the first time and now I'm unable to leave after killing Xesht.

I believe this is somehow related to me dying on the first attempt, guess it's punishment for my poor performance. After I died I got sent back to the checkpoint and it had no text above it... odd... went and killed Xesht who kindly handed me over Choir of the Storm but now I can't leave. Portal has no text above it can't click it, my portal animation is the Soulslash Portal but when it actually pops up it's just the default portal.

I've tried changing character and switching back, fully closed down and rebooted too... no luck.

I've also noticed this similar bug when dying on map bosses, except I could leave those... I'd die to the boss and it would respawn me in a new version of the same map with no mobs just the boss... I'd kill the boss then it wouldn't complete the map... feels very similar.

Scratch that... I got out by porting to a player... should probably have thought to try that before posting.

Still something janky going on when I die to bosses though.
