Buff incompatibility

When using several buff skills. I notice that when I use rend it deactivates the staggering palm buff when I go back into my non wyvern form. I am using hollow palm not sure if that has something to do with it.

I have to completely let staggering palm end, adding time to the buff doesn't work, before I can reactivate it and actually have it work.
