Lag, freezing, and slowdown issues since 01/06/2026

Hello,

I'll try to be as precise as possible about my issue.

I've been playing POE2 for a little over a year now. I had never experienced any problems until now. The game shows around 200 FPS, and everything is smooth, as fluid as can be.

However, since this afternoon, for a reason I completely don't understand, my game has been experiencing some kind of slowdown. It feels a bit like playing with 500 ms ping, sharp freezes, then suddenly a speed-up as if the game is trying to catch up on the lost time. Or sometimes it's just slowdowns, without any catch-up afterward, or simply freez.

I haven't changed anything on my computer, my software, or anything else. I noticed that a small 70 MB update took place today. Could that be the cause of all this?
