Weapon slot 2 disappeared

I’m playing on ps5 using hollow palm martial artist with way of the stonefist and runic meridians allocated and while in the last interlude went to change my secondary weapon and when I took the weapon out of the slot to check stats the weapon slot just disappeared off of my equipment menu. When I try to equip my secondary weapon it goes into the first slot with no change but when I unequip it the secondary slot pops back up on screen until I move off of the slot to try and equip something then it vanishes again.
