Strange Aversions + Balance of Power

Either I don't understand how these two Abyss atlas passive work or they don't work at all.

I picked both (Balance of Power Ulaman version).

My expectation: Only currency chests.
Run few maps AND Abyssal depths - I definietaly got not only those type of chests.

Any ideas?
