Hollow Form Crashes Potentially Related to Charge/Weapon MTX Effects

I’m aware that Hotfix 8 (0.5.0b) included a fix for "a client crash related to Hollow Form." However, I was still experiencing crashes every 5–10 minutes while using Hollow Form as my main damage source.

After some testing, I removed two MTX effects from the new Azmeri Mystery Box:

Azmeri Charges Effect
Azmeri Weapon Effect

Since removing them, the crashes have completely stopped.

I want to be clear that I'm not suggesting the issue is necessarily specific to the Azmeri MTX. Not everyone experiencing Hollow Form crashes owns or uses these effects. It is possible that charge-related or weapon-related MTX effects in general are interacting with Hollow Form and causing client instability, with the Azmeri effects simply being the ones I happened to test.

At this point, I am not using any charge effect or weapon effect MTX whatsoever, and I have not experienced any further crashes. Prior to removing them, I was crashing at least once every 10 minutes.

This may be useful information for the developers when investigating any remaining Hollow Form crash reports. I'm simply sharing my findings in case they help identify a common factor between affected players.

I've completed 10 additional maps since removing all weapon and charge MTX effects, and I haven't experienced a single crash.

That said, I'd really like to be able to use MTX on my character. If weapon or charge effects are contributing to Hollow Form crashes, it feels a bit pointless to own and use them if they end up causing game instability. Please take another look at this interaction.

One additional detail that may be relevant: I am using Whirling Assault while in Hollow Form. I'm not sure whether that's related, but I wanted to mention it in case it helps narrow down the cause.

After some additional testing, I've narrowed it down further. The crashes appear to be caused by the Azmeri Weapon Effect specifically. I have been able to use the Azmeri Charges Effect without any crashes.

I haven't tested every weapon effect MTX, so I can't say whether this issue is limited to the Azmeri Weapon Effect or affects other weapon effects as well. However, in my case, the crashes only occur when the Azmeri Weapon Effect is equipped.

For reference, I'm using Hollow Form with Whirling Assault.

Hopefully this helps the developers identify the cause and work toward a fix.
