Vastweld, the colossal guardian -- cannot be hit

been fighting vastweld for 10 mins and he remains at 100 % HP. i am playing mortar canon with cluster grenade, nor my ancestral minions or my grenades can hit him ..... this is extremely frustrating i just cannot do this boss on forge map as this issue happen every single time.
