Still can't return to Kulemak fight to ascend to Abyssal Lich after hotfix (different bug)

I still can't return to Kulemak fight after dying to him in his final phase and it using an invitation I bought from trade the first time rather than using the quest invitation I had from killing the final east boss. I wasn't even able to select steal a lich's power while I was fighting him, even though I did see it written. As it stands now, my character is just permanently locked from ascending and I have his quest invitation in my inventory. If I drop the quest invitation, it says to seal the eastern wounds (which I've obviously already done.)
